Dear IPEIA Members, Volunteers and Partners,
I am pleased to announce another exciting step forward in our journey to shape the future of our association. As the new Chair of the IPEIA Board of Directors, I am delighted to share that Christi Marcine has been appointed as IPEIA’s first-ever Executive Director, effective immediately.
In August, the Steering Committee approved a transition from a volunteer steering committee to a Board of Directors structure, supported by an Executive Director. This change, part of our three-year Strategic Plan, will enable IPEIA to operate more efficiently, enhance member services, and encourage greater engagement.
In her new role, Christi will report to the Board of Directors, contributing to strategic planning and leading daily operations, including the management of our volunteers and staff. Her extensive experience and passion will be instrumental in ensuring that IPEIA’s mission and objectives are effectively met. With this shift, our industry volunteers – the backbone of IPEIA – can focus on providing subject matter expertise, while staff handle the daily operations of the association.
Christi has been a cornerstone of IPEIA’s success over the past eight years. As Senior Advisor and Manager, her leadership, dedication and work ethic have been instrumental in the international success of IPEIA’s annual conference and the growth of our professional association. We are confident that under her leadership, IPEIA will continue to flourish and achieve new heights.
