Message From the IPEIA 2021 Chair
IPEIA recognizes that our industries, businesses, communities and families have all gone through and continue to meet extraordinary challenges due to the unprecedented global health and economic circumstances. While conditions continue to change, IPEIA continues to monitor the situation closely. We have been working hard to ensure, that although we have postponed the physical 2021 conference, that we are still meeting the IPEIA mission statement. These circumstances have allowed us to leverage this time to create a unique opportunity for our delegates and stakeholders while allowing us to grow the association, building on the IPEIA brand and propelling us into the future.
It is with excitement that we extend to you an invitation to the launch of our new IPEIA Membership opportunity. We are incredibly proud of our roots and history that our past leaders have built to allow us to do this. With a continued focus on our Technical Program we are confident that the IPEIA membership offerings will not disappoint. We have strategically developed the IPEIA Membership offering to allow us to continue to provide a forum to knowledge share and build relationships that connect the industry and IPEIA community.
We felt it was important to reassure you that we are committed to ensuring the continued success of association and part of this was the need to find a way to continue to engage with our stakeholders. No we could not foresee the global pandemic and never envisioned having to postpone the conference but we are continually reassured, through our engagements, that we are on the right path. By building a membership structure we are advancing our 5 year planning efforts and creating a more sustainable model for our future.
IPEIA remains a volunteer based, not-for-profit association with proceeds continuing to be invested back into our programs as well as to support educational initiatives and research going directly back to our industry. We truly have the utmost admiration for the Pressure Equipment Industry for being so resilient during these challenging times and wanted to take this opportunity to thank-you for continuing to support the industry and for your commitment to IPEIA. We would not be able to undertake initiatives of this magnitude without the generous support of our sponsors, organizations, and many hard working volunteers. We cannot thank-you all enough for everything you have done and continue to do for IPEIA. I would also like to thank our vital IPEIA staff members for their continuous hard work and preparation as we take on this new and exciting endeavor.
The IPEIA Conference began over 20 ago years and has become an internationally recognized annual conference to gather Pressure Equipment Integrity industry groups together to further improve best practices and provide education for those committed to this specialty in the energy sector.
